How Kids Can Earn Money with Cheap, Imported Ear Buds or Head Phones
As a kid, you already know that EVERYONE seems to be unable to survive without a pair of ear buds or headphones. You have probably also witnessed how many of them break, get lost, or are “borrowed” and never seen again over the course of a year. These little ear phones can be expensive to replace, making anyone willing to spend $5 to $10 on a cheaper set. What if I told you that you could buy them for under $2, then resell them at school, on the bus, or in the neighborhood? Keeping them on you at all times is important, as most people will buy ANY headset if they will not be able to replace them for a few days otherwise.
Where to Get the Cheap Headphones
In my opinion, one of the best places to buy them is on Ebay. With this search I’ve already done, we can see just how cheap head phones are when they are purchased from other countries. They will take 2 or 3 weeks to ship in, which can be a long wait. However, they can be sold for $5 or more to the right people. I encourage buying 20 of them at a time, which will cost $20 or less. There is easily $80 of profit to be made off of them.
When to Sell Ear Buds
Once the ear buds have shipped in, kids can start selling them right away. However, you need to test each pair to make sure they are working. If they are not working, you should contact the seller and let them know. The best times to sell the ear buds are during the holidays, as people will be looking for great stocking stuffers for family members. Everyone could use an extra pair! Here are some more examples:
- During field trips
- After school
- During social hang outs
- When you see someone who has broken their ear buds
- When someone asks to borrow a pair of ear phones
- During games and pep rallies
- During family events
- Sporting events
Why Will People Buy Cheaper Made Ear Phones?
When you lose or break your head phones, you’re willing to use any pair of buds that you can get your hands on. You will be making a huge profit on desperation; and convenience. They know a pair of quality head phones will cost $20 or so, and that they will involve a trip to the store. Since most kids have to rely on their parents to go to the store, it may be a few days until they can get another pair. Instead, you can provide the ear buds instantly at a cheap price.
